Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design, Student
2010
A comprehensive anti-gang awareness campaign combining interactive design, identity, and community engagement. The project included a board game showcased at Gallery Night at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design that used play to teach youth about the consequences of gang involvement; a logo and poster series that unified the campaign’s visual identity across print and exhibition spaces; and a video that blended motion graphics, photography, and sound design to deliver an emotional, story-driven message. I also designed a website to expand the campaign digitally, providing interactive tools and educational resources, and conceived a guerrilla-style crayon concept to spark citywide curiosity and dialogue. Together, these components demonstrated my early ability to merge empathy, strategy, and design across multiple channels, skills that have since evolved into my professional work in social impact and public sector communications.
